Phil Richards

Phil’s finance career started at KPMG where he spent over 6 years as an auditor living and working in Munich, London and Stockholm, focussing on large global technology and media businesses. Upon leaving KPMG, Phil joined Shell in the Holdings and Treasury controlling team, as controller of the parent company within the Group, managing amongst others the group share option programme, dividend process and intra-company financing. Following Shell, Phil started at Kambi Group plc, the leading B2B Global Sportsbook provider, as their Group FC in 2016 with responsibility for a global finance team of 20 across 7 countries, alongside the respective stock exchange reporting requirements. Currently SVP finance, looking after the finance function, reporting, treasury, tax and internal controls, Phil also has accountability for all of the Kambi offices worldwide through the network of GMs reporting into him. His role at Kambi has taken in many diverse areas, including as acting head of HR, investor relations and most recently, as GM of the Kambi US office in Philadelphia which he set up from scratch to an office of now 60 people, with all the unique challenges that are involved with establishing a business alongside living and working in the US. Outside from the office, Phil lives in London with his wife and 3 small children.
