Niamh Cunningham is a Chartered Accountant who leads Finance and Strategy (F&S) for Square in both Europe, the UK and Canada. She is also the EU HQ Site Lead in Dublin.
Niamh blends financial acumen with the ability to clearly communicate complex issues to a broad audience, many of whom are not from a financial background. As part of the International team, she manages annual planning, ongoing evaluations of the company’s performance in these markets, and has been partnering cross-functionally to enable company growth at scale.
As Square continues to grow, Niamh is a core member of the business expansion working group. Her creativity alongside numerical ability and critical thinking served multiple teams working on expansion plans. Her work has been central to driving internal alignment on markets to consider for presenting back proposals to Square’s CFO, and Executive team. Prior to Square, Niamh worked in various roles in Deloitte, CRH and Paddy Power Betfair.
