Lou Caron is a CPA with extensive business experience in both the insurance and printing industry, and has served as the chief financial officer of companies in both industries.
Lou was born as the oldest of five in Seattle, Washington and moved to California in 1967. He graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Accounting and Mathematics. Following college, he started his career with Ernst & Young, LLP in Los Angeles where he stayed for 12 years. Since then, he has worked in finance/operations in the insurance, technology, and printing industries. He joined PIASC in May of 2016 and has been a key player in the launch of Private Choice, which is an extension of our health insurance service for the non-printer world. In June of 2017, he became President/CEO of Printing Industries Association, Inc. of Southern California, the largest local print trade association in the nation.
Lou and his wife Mary have three adult children, and he is interested in U.S. Masters Swimming, golf and running.
Fun fact: Lou was a NCAA Division III All American in seven swimming events.
