Jane Waiyaki is an avid sustainability and shared value advocate. She is passionate about building capacity and training on sustainability, demystifying the myths around it and creating innovative solutions that will drive more financial flows towards things that heal the planet while driving business sustainability
She is currently with the Finance Practice at the World Wide Fund for Nature supporting Sustainable finance in Africa and Asia markets with a focus on Financing Green. She has over 13 years’ experience in the financial services sector. She holds a postgraduate certificate in sustainable value chains and a certificate in business sustainability management from the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership; she is also certified project management practitioner (PMP®) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting from the University of Nairobi, Kenya and an Alumni of the Global Management Foundation Programme from IMD, Switzerland Lausanne
In 2021, she was recognized as an SDG pioneer by the Global Compact Network Kenya and became a One Young World Ambassador, Manchester in 2022. In her free time she loves to travel, enjoy a good meal in great company, be immersed in nature and most of all mentoring and coaching the next generation. She is also a wife and mother to three beautiful children
