Heng Hau Lee has over 17 years of experience in various executive positions in the commodities and industrials sector, acting as the key business partner to CEO in understanding and creating values through the entire supply chain from producers to end users. During his time with Cargill (largest privately held corporation in the US in terms of revenue), he was instrumental in leading a cross-functional project to drive business strategy and execution, transforming the 150-year-old company into a leader in data analytics. He helped set up the finance function for BHP, when the world largest mining company moved its Group Finance function from Melbourne to Singapore. During his time with BHP, he also managed a SAP implementation project spanning multiple entities and global locations as part of post-acquisition integration.
Prior to his commercial roles, Heng Hau was an external auditor with Deloitte, where he led various audit assignment as well as acted as the reporting accountant for an IPO client in HK/China listed on the SGX with a market capitalization of S$ 1 billion.
Heng Hau graduated from the Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accountancy. He holds the Chartered Accountant of Singapore designation (ISCA) and is an associate member of CPA Australia. He believes in lifelong learning and has recently completed a Harvard Business School CFO program. He also serves on the Nanyang Technological University and ISCA Care mentorship community. In his free time, he enjoys running and has completed a marathon in 2017.
