Abby Obomighie

Abby has a global rich career experience spanning across multiple continents and cultural profile gained from different companies: African; Japanese; European & American. Having worked in different industries ranging from banking, academia (UCL & University of Reading), housing (Ethical and Raglan), consumer products (SCJ Johnsons, Johnson and Johnson); pharmaceuticals (Johnson & Johnson), clinical research (i3 research), and conglomerates (Hitachi & Honeywell).

An ACCA fellow currently serving as CFO for Honeywell HBS Europe Projects, as finance director, She is a trusted business partner and advisor, driving, managing project execution and performance with enhance focus on people, process, performance, putting the customer at the centre of all decisions. Having responsibility for European wide performance management (including AOP, short range plans, business planning) and enhancing its digital finance systems & strategy within the team.

Abby holds a master’s degree in professional accounting and a Certified DAMIC & Project manager with hands-on extensive experience in delivering and managing finance related transformational projects including process and change management to budgeting or reporting system rollouts.

Abby is passionate in these 3 areas (TAB): Talent development to develop best in class by encouraging self-directed learning and growth mindset within her team which drives Automation in finance, leveraging on data & technology driven by  value-added human touch produces efficiency by offering best in class Business partnering to support performance, while leveraging on her finance foundation of compliance & reporting.
