Born in 1972, in the state of Michoacan, Mexico.
Married and father of three kids under the age of ten. Balancing family, professional activities, and integral wellbeing has become one of his permanent objectives; he understands this as the foundation of the success in life.
He has a degree in Philosophy, as part of his educational background of eleven years living within the congregation of the Salesians of Don Bosco, where he learned to live the value of being part of a community and share a common mission & vision.
He has also a degree in accounting and master’s degree in finance, with almost twenty years of experience in the financial aspects of a fruit processing industry. Among this, he spent nearly four years at corporate level in Europe, as part of the Finance Controlling team (one year in Paris and three in Vienna), where he took part of the dynamism of the corporate life, with its implications and demands.
CFO of SunOpta Mexico, since March 2020, helping in the restructuration of the management and turnaround of the company.
