Thomas Popp-Madsen is leading SAP’s Office of the CFO (Finance) initiatives across the EMEA North Region. With a strong focus on finance and finance innovation topics, the role evolves around understanding the local requirements from continuous conversation with local customers and business partners. This is to allow the CFO to expand their capabilities for compliance, efficiencies and strategic partnership with business.
Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, since Jan 2018 Thomas is responsible for expansion and development of all areas relating to SAPs finance innovation. He joined SAP in 2013 after working for Oracle as part of the Hyperion integration, where he was already based in the Middle East covering MEA – and spend 11 years in the Middle East.
Prior to joining the software world in 2001, Thomas had 12 years of experience in finance working in corporate functions with the Danish Industrial groups FLSmidth and Velux Industries. In addition he is a graduate diploma in Financial and Management Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.
