After having worked 7 years as a Vice President at J.P. Morgan’s fixed income department (structuring and marketing corporate risk hedging and financing solutions), Sebastian joined Verse as its CFO after the seed round, and led its acquisition exit transaction in June 2020 by Block Inc.
Verse has been integrated into Block’s global P2P payment network CashApp, and since September 2022 he now oversees the financial planning and budgeting exercises for all the EMEA engagements of CashApp. Sebastian was deeply involved in the strategic decision-making during Verse’s growth phase from 25 employees to 100+ and is now dedicating his focus to replicating this success story in various additional markets across Europe with CashApp. On top of the accountability for the business’s finances, Sebastian established and currently leads the business intelligence unit of Verse guaranteeing a data-driven decision-making approach across all departments.
Additionally, he sits as a director of the Board of Verse Payments Lithuania, a regulated EMI license holder.
