John Wilenski

Mr. John Wilenski performs global CFO functions for multiple start-up companies and is a strategic and performance focused executive with energetic leadership in the Americas, Asia and Europe.  Throughout his career, John successfully managed, closed and integrated over a dozen acquisitions valued at $7+ billion.

John works well with uncertainty and is an expert in planning and forecasting.  At Nissan Motor Company, John developed the planning and risk management process, predictive analytical models, and financial tools that provided insight into the global procurement and supply chain of 5,000 suppliers and $10+ billion in annual purchasing spend.  His leadership and forward thinking is distinctively demonstrated during critical events such as the 2008 Global Financial Crisis and the March 11, 2011 9.0 earthquake, tsunami, and Fukushima radiation disaster.  At Gibson Guitar Corporation he helped create the financial infrastructure to facilitate revenue growth from $300 million to $1.7 billion and successfully obtained $225 million in new financing.  In addition, John developed all things finance and accounting for a successful unicorn technology start-up company in the autonomous vehicle industry which resulted in over $100 million in Simple Agreements for Future Equity and for the founder to be recognized as the World’s Youngest Billionaire.

John earned a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from Andrews University and a Bachelors of Science with a major in Accounting from Indiana University.
